La Belle Époque, Milano
GAMManzoni, to February 21, 2016
The exhibition Belle Époque. La Parigi di Boldini, De Nittis e Zandomeneghi at GAMManzoni in Milan displays 35 works by the three leading Italian artists who worked in Paris during the period of the Belle Époque: Giovanni Boldini (1842-1931), Giuseppe De Nittis 1846-1884) and Federico Zandomeneghi (1841-1917).
The artists decided to permanently live in the French capital, sharing friends, fame and professional success. The exhibition accompanies their works with those of other Italian painters who were active in Paris during that same period, like Vittorio Matteo Corcos, Antonio Mancini and Edoardo Tofano.
