Milan and its restaurants

Experiencing Milan does not only mean appreciating its cultural attractions but above all rediscovering and trying out the flavours of traditional Milanese food.

Dishes not to be missed include golden saffron risotto, cutlets, Casoeûla (for the winter season), ossobuco alla milanese, tripe and Milanese-style mixed fry up with brains and sweetbreads. And accompanying these dishes will be yellow polenta and the characteristic small Micchetta wheat flour white bread rolls.

The area is particularly packed with bars, restaurants and pizzerias where you can try out all the Lombard and Italian specialities.
